The images of the "Transformation Trilogy" triptych depict the three stages of transformation from restriction to freedom: the scorpion, serpent and the phoenix. Each symbol is represented as a phase of heartbreak. The scorpion shows the initial pain and the release of frustration and hurt; the Serpent is about anger and owning your personal power. Finally the phoenix shows the strength and inner wisdom gained after working through hard times.
